I keep rereading it to inspire myself to get to the point of just enough instead of too much. Honest, her book is life changing just as the title says. I'm on a year long quest to rid myself of 50% of the stuff I started with 6 months ago. We have even went from two cars to one. We're retired and can do that. I realize not everyone can, but I bring it up to show how much effect her book had on me. It's only $10, but the best money can buy.At Rivercrest Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12068816102263605128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1985198055979175156.post-1033583960956398332017-01-14T04:07:52.183-06:002017-01-14T04:07:52.183-06:00I feel comfortable in my old clothes and rarely bu...I feel comfortable in my old clothes and rarely buy anything, but I've just gone through my wardrobe and will donate some of the better items to charity. It's a start! Likewise I've been sorting out my books which is a harder task because I'm reluctant to give them away. However, I realise that it's unlikely I'll ever have time to read them (if they are novels) and if they are older publications I can reserve them at the library.Linda Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10634839688042592781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1985198055979175156.post-10662850935541056982017-01-13T07:06:17.632-06:002017-01-13T07:06:17.632-06:00Wow. I'm not a hoarder by any means but things seem to be growing and I'm feeling the urge to rid myself of things. What I've found really helpful is with every item to ask myself 'if I saw this full price in a shop now, would I buy it?' Also if there are items you're not sure of, is it easily replaceable? If so, take the risk. Chances are you won't miss it anyway, or you wouldn't have considered getting rid of it. What I can say is the more that you do the easier it gets because you get into a groove and get the idea of what you are keeping and what you are letting go of. Enjoy the process and the results! p.s. glad that all went well with your daughters move.Amy at love made my homehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17111180584250029433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1985198055979175156.post-36161240677726449682017-01-13T00:14:31.437-06:002017-01-13T00:14:31.437-06:00I find it very hard to declutter.
