Well, it's getting on at night on Christmas Eve - Christmas Day in England already - and everything that is going to be done has been done. There are some presents under the tree, so I did manage to get something done. Things are very low-key though. Tomorrow we are just having father-in-law over though I'm not sure he should stay long as both husband and older son are still not 100%. Middle son is going to his girlfriend's place in the morning as she has to work in the afternoon, then he will pop over for a bit. I'm planning on going for a walk in the morning and then spend the day just relaxing.
I hope everyone who celebrates has a Happy Christmas. For those feeling sad or alone, it is just one day to get through. Take time to relax and be kind to yourself and perhaps find something that brings you joy, even if it's just for a moment. You aren't alone.
Things that made me smile today
I forgot that I had bought this little votive candle holder, but while I was clearing things up today I found it, lit a candle and popped it inside.
Sunrise this morning. A lovely way to start the day, so quiet and peaceful
