Monday, Monday

It was colder this morning when I woke. It's going to be a cold week in general. I bundled up to take my morning walk. I wasn't too happy as there wasn't supposed to be any precipitation at all but it was snowing. The roads weren't snow covered, but there was a light dusting on them. I can drive on them, but it makes me really anxious.

I went for my walk. The wind started blowing and it got pretty cold. By the time I left my face was bright red from the cold. I had taken my shopping list on my walk with me and managed to drive okay to the shops. I made the mistake of going back to the large supermarket I went to last week. The shelves were pretty bare. I got a lot of what I needed but there are a couple of things that I couldn't get there. I shall have to go somewhere else later in the week. I've done my meal plan and have enough for a few days at least.

Tomorrow morning will be even colder. It's going to 8f/-13c when I go for my walk in the morning. It will be a short one as - depending on the wind - it might feel even colder and not safe to stay outside too long. I shall be wearing layers, handwarmers and tomorrow I think double socks and toe warmers. I want to get out tomorrow as my husband is taking my car to work with him on Wednesday to get an oil change and a look over at the mechanic's. The company he works for has a mechanic who does outside work too, so husband is taking the car there.

I'm pretty sure that by tomorrow the lake where I walk shall be frozen. Most of it was frozen today, but the beavers were keeping a small area open. I saw two of them this morning.

One beaver kept popping up here.

And this is by their lodge where they are keeping a small area open. It will be interesting to see tomorrow whether they can still manage to keep it open!

Sunday Adventure

We did go out today. The drive was more than a little scary. We only got an extra little dusting of snow, but the further north we drove the worst the roads became. Husband is such a good driver in the snow, but even the main roads were snow/ice covered and the motorway, in parts, was a nightmare. It was tempting to turn back but the exits from the motorways were worse than the actual roads so we kept going.

It was beautiful when we finally got where we were going. There was sunshine! The skies were beautifully blue. We had a good walk. I ended up walking more than husband. We went to park in the car park by the beach, but it hadn't been plowed and husband didn't want to get stuck so he drove to another car park that had been plowed and I walked along the beach to meet him there. We did some more walking then.

While I was walking along the beach I saw lots of ice balls in the lake. Amazing to watch. I actually got more than a little distracted by them. Hope you can see the video below. They were quite large!

A couple of phone photos of the sunshine! Such blue skies!

The drive home was a little less eventful, as the road crews had been through and, although it was below freezing, the salt on the roads melted most of the snow.

So glad we made the most of the sunshine as when we got back home it was cloudy.

I'm off to bed. Really tired. Walking through snow is quite tiring!

Saturday

No sunshine today. There was almost a tiny bit, but only a glimpse and then it was gone. A bit of snow. We did go out for a drive about. I didn't take many photos. I have a couple of phone ones I'll share further down. We did get to see five eagles today so that was nice. They didn't stay put long enough and were quite far away, that I didn't get photos, but lovely to see nonetheless. While we were out and about we stopped at Yoder's store, an Amish bakery and goods store to pick up some bread and a pie as a treat. We don't do it often, but their baked goods are so tasty! While we were driving back down the snowy country roads we did see an Amish cart and buggy in front of us. Quite nice to see.

Most of the afternoon was spent lazily. I did a bit of sorting that I've been putting off in-between watching some television, reading and fiddling with photos. Nothing too exciting. We have no great plans for tomorrow. It's a sort of see-what-happens day. I had big plans of where I wanted us to go for our Sunday Adventure. Unfortunately, the area we were going to is under a Winter Storm Warning so we'll see in the morning how much snow fell and whether we'll go there or not. We shall go out somewhere.

A phone photo from today.

This is where we saw some of the eagles. There were three perched on the last tree, one adult and two juveniles. They have a nest pretty close to here.

I mentioned the Cooper's Hawk on a previous post. Here's a couple of the photos. Even though it's a predator it is a really beautiful bird.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Well, it finally happened....SUNSHINE!!

There was actually a sunrise this morning!!! So happy! It was really cold.  But when I looked out of my back window and saw the promise of the sun I bundled up with lots of layers and headed out.

I got to see a sunrise and some sunshine! It was absolutely wonderful. As cold as it was I was the only crazy person out early and it was so peaceful. Some phone photos.

The beavers had been busy overnight as it snowed, and I could tell that there was fresh work at the beaver lodge.

You can see where they have piled up fresh mud on top of the lodge. The weather is turning colder, the lake is freezing, and I think they know that they are going to be inside for a while. I was lucky enough to see some of them this morning. Wonderful!

I came straight home after my walk. The roads weren't the greatest. Clouds rolled in and then the snow started. Goodbye sunshine. It's been snowy and bitterly cold all afternoon. We're under a gale watch too so the winds are pretty strong.

I got some household stuff done, had a nice warm bath and have been sorting through some photos this afternoon as well as messaging with my sister, catching up on all the news from home.

I'm not sure what the weekend will hold. It depends on the weather, how much more snow we will get. I am prepared not to go far and do some crafty stuff. Husband is a good driver in the snow though and I do have him home for a couple of days so we shall see!

Hope everyone has a great weekend! Can you believe we're almost at the end of January?

Thursday, January 26, 2023

It snowed again last night and most of the day today. They seem to have caught up on the roads though, so I did at least go out for a walk. It was snowy and the trees were covered with white. It's just below freezing, and the snow is thick, wet and fluffy. This lot we are getting now is Lake Effect Snow. I think that's when cold air passes over warm water and causes snow. We get it as we are just close enough to Lake Michigan. I'm hoping to be able to make it out for a walk tomorrow, but I'll just see how it is in the morning. We'll be going out somewhere at the weekend so if I have to stay inside I will. I suppose this is when meal planning pays off as I have everything I need for the meals for the next couple of days. Well, in reality I have a few extras on hand if I don't want to go out but this makes things easier.

The roads were mostly clear when I came home. I made it just before another round of snow fell and covered the hill outside. I thought I heard one or two cars struggling to get up the hill but then the trucks came through and cleared it off - at least for a while. Husband cleared the driveway and pavements when he got home so it should be easier to get out of the driveway in the morning if I do go out.

A couple of phone photos from my walk today. I didn't take too many.

Thursday is a housework-y sort of day and I got all the usual things done. Wasn't sure I would as I got a little distracted by a Cooper's Hawk that landed in the tree when I popped outside to fill the birdfeeders. Obviously, the birds weren't around for a time while he was visiting! I think it might be the same one from the other day. Hopefully, I'll get photos sorted and add a couple to a future post.

Midweek

I did get out for a walk yesterday. It was a longer one and I'm glad I went for a longer one as it snowed overnight and all day today so I stayed home. Yikes, the day seemed really long! I'm glad I didn't take the car out though. People were struggling up the hill until the snow plough came through later in the day. The snow has stopped for now and I'm hoping we won't get a lot overnight so I can go out for my walk tomorrow. I did watch the birds in the garden for a bit. Yikes, they were going crazy! Probably because they can't find food anywhere else.

This lovely woodpecker has been stopping by the last few days. It's a Northern Flicker. They are really beautiful and have such a range of lovely colours. Their underneath is yellow. They even have a little red heart on the back on the necks. This one is a female as it does not have red by its beak.

I didn't get a lot done today. I should have, but I couldn't seem to get motivated. I did do some tidying up that I've been putting off. I got together some things I need to post to daughter - a couple of things I've picked up and a couple of things that got forgotten in the Christmas box. Including this cute box I picked up at the Dollar Tree.

Isn't it adorable? I've got to think of something different to put inside it now lol.

It was pretty chilly today - obviously, as it was snowing - but I'm trying to keep the heat down (it has to be on as we can't not have it on - too cold and water pipes and such). I've been wearing what are supposed to be pajama bottoms during the daytime. They are so comfy and warm, too warm to sleep in lol.

The penguins make me smile too lol. I have a couple of different pairs.

Hope everyone is having a good week!

Monday Blues

Not a particularly productive day. I had high plans. Didn't work out. It didn't help that I spent the night on the sofa again last night. Sigh. I'm actually dreading bedtime tonight, but I'm so tired I really want to go. I'm hoping I can get to sleep between snores. I'm not sure what else I can do. I wear earplugs already! I've sure lack of sleep didn't help with the energy levels today.

I went for a walk. Yet another grey day. There is actually no sunshine forecast for any day this week or next weekend, so I think I'm not going to mention it again until the sun actually does shine! Won't that be a red-letter day? It seems so endless, these grey days of winter.

I didn't see a lot on my walk, but this duck made me smile. It caught a fish!

They don't tend to eat fish, though it wasn't long ago that I saw a female mallard catch and eat a frog!

I did manage to get to the post office and drop off all my packages. Tomorrow, I have to do a food shop. I'm hoping it's not too busy. We might get snow on Wednesday and sometimes that makes the shops busier. I've written a list for tomorrow but I'm not going to jinx it by showing what I plan to do. Things never seem to go to plan!

Hope everyone had a good start to the week.

Sunday Adventures

Still grey. We did have a few snow showers today so at least there was a tiny bit of colour around. We did get out for a drive and a quick walk along the beach. It wasn't the greatest day out but at least we managed to get out.

I came home and got Ebay packages ready for shipping tomorrow. I've been trying to work on my meal plan and becoming a little uninspired. I'm going to get it done tomorrow so I can go to the shops on Tuesday. Tomorrow will consist of something that is entirely in the cupboards and/or freezer. I think I have at least Monday taken care of. I got another post added for my photography project. Not sure it will be done by the end of January, but I am making progress and it will get finished!

Tomorrow I will get up in the morning and go for my walk. It looks to be another grey day, but I shall get out anyway. There is a tiny bit of snow on the ground.

This week I am going to try to fill up the box I have started for the charity shop. It's halfway there, but my goal is to fill it up so it can leave the house. I've got one more food cupboard to sort and then I'm going to keep working on the freezers. We have a small one with our fridge and a separate chest freezer. The goal is to have them both cleaned out. As some point I'd like to be able to turn off the big one and just use the smaller freezer. Another reason I have to stick to making meal plans!

A couple of phone photos from our day out today - looking for reflections

Yes, it's Another Grey Day

Surprise, surprise. It was a grey day again. Not enthused about it. We did get out, but I didn't take a lot of photos. I wasn't feeling inspired. It was windy and cold. We walked, but I was more than ready to get home.

Husband went out with son in the afternoon and early evening. I took a nice bath, read some of my book and played around on my computer. Nothing really exciting, but it was relaxing. I did get a couple more posts done on last years' Big Project - A Year at Asylum Lake. It's really slow going. I need to work on it some more. I am determined that it will be done.

Tomorrow is expected to be another cloudy day, this time with some snow around. At this point, I'd rather that than rain. We are going out to a Water Treatment Plant. Yes, that's exactly what it sounds like. It's a place where wastewater is recycled. There is a part that can be extremely stinky in the warmer weather BUT there are usually lots of ducks and water birds around. It's quite a large place with lots of open fields around.  It is open to the public with a permit for birdwatchers.  It is near the lakeshore, so the plan is to go there and see what birds are around and then maybe go to the lakeshore for a walk.

A video of yesterday's walk. It's speeded up so hope it doesn't make you dizzy!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

It's Friday!

Cloudy and rainy yesterday. Cloudy and snowy today. Sigh. Can't say I'm happy it's cloudy again. Yesterday I got rained on while I was out for my walk, today I got snowed on. It was quite peaceful. And muddy. Very muddy. And slippery. I'm feeling quite uninspired going out walking.

My funny little squirrel was out in the garden again. Not sure if it's a boy or girl, haven't looked quite that closely lol, but it is getting quite bold. I barely got out of my car before s/he was up at the door begging for a peanut! At one point s/he was up on the garage looking very cute and scratching its ears.

Really made me smile!

With the horrible weather out the birds were busy at the feeders. I went out at one point to put some food out and was surprised there were no birds around. It was only as I was heading back into the house that I realised exactly why.

This hawk was sitting on the fence! Looking for lunch I assume! Not sure if it managed to catch anything or not, but few birds came back for the rest of the day. Even the usual evening Cardinals seemed to be missing. Sigh.

Midweek

Guess what? Another dull day with rain this time! I have really had enough of this weather. It's supposed to rain tomorrow and then snow on Friday. There doesn't even look like there will be sun at the weekend. Sunshine really is good for mental health! I really could use a dose of it. I don't feel like doing a lot of anything. Sigh.

I did get the rest of my food shop today. I went somewhere else and managed to get everything I needed. Yesterday, in the evening I worked on my project and managed to get a bit more of that done. Today after I'd finished my household stuff I settled down to watch a presentation from my online photo club. Unfortunately, I missed the live. I completely forgot about it, but I was able to watch the reply. Probably better as I could stop and start as needed. It was really interesting. It was a presentation by Bill Ward who is an actor as well as a photographer (he was in Coronation Street and Emmerdale). Anyway, he did a really good presentation, the second half of which was all about creative photography including multiple exposure and ICM (intentional camera movement). I've done a little bit of both but watching the talk has really inspired me to get out and do more.

Here is an ICM (intentional camera movement) photo I did the other day in the woods. There is no snow around at the moment and the colours look a lot like Autumn.

I love the artsy look of this especially the colours. This is definitely a little more creative than my normal photography and not everyone's cup of tea, but I really enjoy it.

Today

Guess what? It was dull and drizzly. My walk was all squelchy muddy paths. I wasn't enthused. When things are dull out, I don't really feel like going for a walk. There was a thin sheen of ice on the lake. It did make for some nice reflections. There were a bunch of geese squawking at the end of the lake along with a couple of Trumpeter Swans and one lone Mute Swan.

After the walk I dropped my packages off at the post office. I was rather annoyed as the last time I went up to the counter the man there told me I could scan the prepaid packages at the self-service checkout and get a receipt. As there was a long queue, I decided to try it. Managed to do it. The place you were supposed to put the packages were closed and the big trolley where you were supposed to put the packages was full to the point of overflowing. Sigh. In the end I stood in the queue anyway and dropped my packages off.

I also went and dropped off my Amazon returns. I don't know if anyone remembers, but last week I had ordered some boxes from Amazon, and they sent me bin liners. I did a return and requested a replacement and....more bin liners were delivered. Sigh. I gave up. Requested a refund which was really frustrating as the person I was 'chatting' with didn't really understand what I was saying. I ordered different boxes which did show up, so that was good.

Oh, I also heard something about the empty shelves. Husband told me that someone he worked with knew someone who worked at the shop. Apparently, the truck arrived late and because they have cut the hours on workers there was no-one to fill the shelves and the truck sat in the car park until that night! Hopefully shopping tomorrow (somewhere else) will make it so I can complete my shopping list for my menu, and I won't have to go out again.

A bird from the weekend when the sun actually shone.

It's Monday Again

We did manage to go out for a little bit yesterday. Husband wanted to spend some more time with his brother, so we didn't stay out as long as we usually did. It was fun though. We did what we call The Loop - from our house to one lighthouse, along the lakeshore to another lighthouse and then home. It was chilly and a little breezy but there was some sunshine! I'm glad we got out again as the weather forecast don't show sun for at least another week.

While we were at the lighthouse, we bumped into a man I sometimes see at a local bird place where he takes photos. He asked us if we were there to see the Red-throated Loon. To be honest, I do like seeing birds and photographing them, but I don't generally go somewhere to see a 'special' bird. We said no and he told us that a Red-throated loon had been seen at the end of the lighthouse, but he hadn't seen it. We walked all the way out there and husband spotted it in the water! That was a nice treat!

Today I did go out for a walk. It was pretty overcast. I did see two of the beavers though so that was nice. I had done my meal plan for the week, checked the cupboards, written a list and headed to the shops to do the food shop. It didn't work out quite the way I wanted. The shelves were pretty bare! This is a pretty large shop, sort of like an Asda style shop, but there were absolutely no frozen vegetables at all. In fact, the frozen section was mostly bare! It didn't look as though they had an electrical failure as there were a few items around, but wow. I got what I could, but I'll have to go back in a couple of days - somewhere else lol.

As it was a sort-of holiday (I say that because the only people who usually have the day off are bank workers and the post office) so daughter had the day off (she works for a bank) so we had a nice chat. Because there was no post today, I have quite a few to go out tomorrow so a trip to the post office will be on the list. I have ten - yes, ten - items that sold over the weekend and had to be packed up today and postage printed (it's cheaper to buy from home).

At the Lighthouse

At the second lighthouse we went to there were a couple of fishermen out on the pier. Very brave of them, it was below freezing and breezy so felt colder. They even had their chairs strapped to the pier to stop them blowing away! They said they hadn't caught anything, but they must have still been hopeful as they were there when we left too!

Red-throated Loon.

Hope everyone had a good weekend!

Saturday - Was there Sunshine?

Was there sunshine? Yes there was! It made me smile.

We did go out for a bit in the morning. Husband said he wasn't going to visit with his brother until the afternoon so we could go out in the morning. As there was actually going to be a sunrise (first one for over a week!) we went to watch it. Actually, I watched it, husband said it was too cold (about 20f/-7C) and sat in the car.

* all phone photos as I haven't sorted through the camera ones.

Even with the sunrise there was a line of clouds above it lol.

After the sunrise we took a drive to a Warren Dunes State Park and took a walk along the beach. It wasn't very sunny there, and it was cold, but it was peaceful and pretty.

We took a walk up in the sand dunes where there was a touch of snow

I've been watching this piece of water dividing the beach for a while. It's moved again. Further along now. It sounds strange but with the winds and the lake waters, this piece of water dividing the beach keeps changing and moving. I've taken photos for years - I really need to dig them out.

It's a lot slimmer at the bottom further along the beach. So interesting to see how much it changes. I've said it before, but considering this is a lake it's amazing how much things change.

Got back home and husband went over to visit his brother. Son went over later for a little while. They didn't stay as long as I thought and were home before I headed out to catch a sunset. I had thought of going to the lake for a sunset, but it was cloudy that way so I stuck to a place in town. I can't actually watch a good sunset, but there were colours in the sky.

I was surprised that it had been cold enough that Asylum Lake had a thin layer of ice on it.

It wasn't a bad day overall. The sunshine helped my mood. I struggled with getting some of my photo project done. It took a lot longer to get any of it done, but I managed three blog posts on my photography blog. Sigh. At this rate it's going to take forever! I am determined to finish it.

Tomorrow, I'm off on a Sunday Adventure. Not sure where it will take me. I like having lazy weekends, where I don't feel guilty for doing indulgent things such as hobbies!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

End of Another Week

Guess what? Another dull and gloomy day. I only took a quick walk today. It was really cold and just after I started walking these ice pellet things started coming down. It's the end of the week and I've had enough of the lousy weather.

I went home, picked up my packages, dropped them off at the Post Office and came home. I was really too miserable to go anywhere else. I did my house stuff, a bit of sorting and not much else. I did forget to say yesterday that I had done some cross stitching - a minimal amount. The light hasn't been good and the pattern I'm working on is difficult to see. At first I miscounted - apparently I don't know how to count to three - so I put the stitching down with the thought of never picking it up again. A little later, I took another look. I had counted correctly so I did a little more. The pattern isn't really calling to me. Actually, that's sort of not true. I really like the design, but the pattern isn't the greatest. I prefer black and white symbols, this is in colour. It's really small. I have enlarged the pattern, but the symbol legend is really difficult to read. I did email the designer, but never heard back. Sigh. I won't be getting another of their patterns!

Hopefully, I'll have a photo of it to post soon. I might start another more enjoyable design to give me a break.

Not sure what's up for the weekend. My husband's brother is coming to visit from another state. It's the first time he's been back in a couple of years so husband will be spending time with him. I won't be visiting. They have some views - including those about Covid - that are just still too raw with me to sit there and pretend I'm happy and everything is okay when it's not and I'm still struggling. I understand that people want to move on, and a lot of people have put it behind them, but I'm just not at that stage. And just to be clear, it's not like I've visited a lot with them in the past. I shall do my own thing. I'm glad they are coming to visit MIL and FIL. It's been too long for them.  I shall go have my own adventure and hopefully some long-awaited sunshine!

What are you up to for the weekend? My sister said that it was looking like rain in her part of the world - East Anglia - so she was planning to stay in bed longer lol.

Some of the not-quite-snow on the path.

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Thursday, January 12, 2023

Today dawned dull, grey and gloomy. On the bright side, it wasn't raining this morning so I managed to get out for a walk. It wasn't the greatest walk, but I did see another Blue Heron, unusual at Asylum Lake this time of year and a pair of trumpeter swans - definitely migrating through as they don't live at Asylum Lake.

After my walk I had to go to the shops to pick up a couple of forgotten items. I really needed washing up liquid. I had even used up my emergency bottle lol. I did manage to get out of there without picking up a whole bunch of items. I did end up with a couple of things not on my list - they were on sale and I shall use them for the meal plan next week. Speaking of food, I managed to sort out another cupboard. Sigh. The less said, the better. I also got my household chores done for the day. I packaged up another five items sold and shall drop them off at the Post Office tomorrow. I also have to drop off a return Amazon package. I needed more boxes to ship the lighthouses so ordered some. Opened them up today to find...bin liners (rubbish bags). Ack. My replacement boxes are supposed to come tomorrow and I have to drop these off to be returned. I did the return online and I hope they understood that I wouldn't be returning boxes only what they sent me. Sigh. We shall see.

I worked some more on my Asylum Lake Project. I have Collages done for each month. These were some of my favourite photos each month. Next, I have to work on writing on the Photography blog. I thought I'd share my collages. I think they are best viewed if you click on them. Maybe. Lol

Hopefully back tomorrow. It's going to be another grey day. Sigh.

Plodding Along

As the title says, I've been plodding along. Yesterday was horrible wet/drizzly/snowy. Just a mess. I didn't go for a walk. I did get my food shopping done, some regular housework and Ebay orders packed up. I also listed a few more things. I also sorted through another of the dreaded food cupboards. Yikes. I'm not going to say anything more. Hopefully, if I can stick to meal planning, it won't be needed too much in the future. I dread to even start on the freezer. Sigh

Today started rather grey and damp. I was uming and ahing over whether to go for a walk or not. I had my packages in a bag and almost in the car and then when I went outside it looked like there was a break in the weather, so I put the bag back in the house, drove to the park and started to walk. Promptly got wet. Of course, it started to really rain. I did a quick loop back to my car, went home and got the packages and drove to the post office. By the time I was done at the post office and had stopped off at MIL to drop off some books, the rain had started to clear a bit more, so I stopped at the park again, took another longer walk.

I listed several more Ebay items. It seems never-ending but pile is going down so things are leaving the house. I do have to consolidate items at some point. I sort of a system of where I keep things though and I'm kind of afraid that if I start moving things around, I won't remember where I put them!

It looks like another grey day tomorrow, but at least no morning precipitation forecast (yet) so hopefully a morning walk. I have household stuff to do tomorrow and I want to get the last of the cupboards sorted as rubbish day is Friday. I won't be doing any listing tomorrow. I want to get a cross stitch project out and start on it (hopefully).

Through the windshield when I got back in the car. Sigh.

Second walk, the beavers had been gnawing on a new tree

It's right behind the lodge but the beavers always seem to down the tree at the right angle that it doesn't hit their home! Be interesting to see whether more is done tomorrow!

Monday

Not a lot accomplished today. I thought about not posting at all, but am holding myself accountable and just saying that I didn't get a lot done. I had a hair appointment at 2pm which really threw me off as I like to get things (outside the house) done early so I can get in my comfy clothes and (hopefully) get things done at home. I know why I made the appointment at that time - if the roads were bad I could have asked husband to go in early to work and get off early and take me. Luckily the roads were okay - no snow - so I could drive myself.

I did go for my walk this morning. It was cloudy when I first went, but then the sun came out. I stayed out longer than I usually do. We are forecast cloudy/rainy/snowy weather the rest of the week so this might be the only sun I see.

I saw three beavers today, lots of muskrats, ducks, geese, a blue heron (unusual at this time of year as the lake is usually frozen over) and some green winged teal. Quite a good morning overall!

I did get two cupboards sorted in the kitchen. I've been putting it off as I know there are some out-of-date items and I feel really bad about throwing them away. That's not a good enough excuse. So I got started today and sorted through two of them. I'll get some more done tomorrow.

I do feel better for having my hair cut. I used to hate going, but I have been to the same hairdresser for a while. She's really nice, knows what I like and doesn't change anything unless I ask her to. My hair was getting really long. I had a bit more taken off than normal. It feels a lot better.

The newer beaver lodge is starting to spill onto the path. The strange thing is that the path has been there a lot longer than the lodge! They actually built it right where there is a lot of foot traffic. I saw one beaver leaving the lodge today.

There are two more beaver lodges here. One at the very end of the reeds and the other to the left of that. I saw two beavers here (at the same time).

Still a tiny bit of ice on the lake. I love seeing the slabs like that.

Hopefully, I will be able to get out for a walk tomorrow, but if the weather looks to be lousy I think I'll do my food shop tomorrow and then work on house stuff instead.

Until tomorrow (hopefully)
