Time sort of got away from me again.
We've been to daughter's the past week and just got home tonight. I've read a few blogs and will have to steadily play catch-up.
We had a lovely time. Baby A has grown SO much and is into everything! She can say a few words now and is very independent, wanting to do everything herself though gets frustrated when she can't do the things she thinks she should. I really wish we were closer. I was so pleased that she did seem to know who I was, and it didn't take her long to warm up to me. We had lots of fun times and cuddles. It was hard to say goodbye, but thankfully we will see them in July as they are coming for a short visit to Michigan.
Daughter ended up taking the whole week off, so I got to spend lots of time with her too. All in all, a really lovely week.
Trying to get dressed!
Really liking the new-to-her doll and shopping trolley/cart that I found for her.
So sweet! I remember those days, the floor strewn with toys so you had to slide your feet to avoid crunching them underfoot! My mother said when we were little she'd 'tidy' the living room in the evening by taking a broom and sweeping the whole lot behind a chair.
ReplyDeleteHa ha! I remember them too. It seemed I had a lot more energy then or I was so tired I just plodded through the days!
DeleteWow, Baby A has really grown! She was a baby when you shared the pictures from your earlier visit and now she's well on her way to being a toddler!
ReplyDeleteShe is definitely more toddler than baby now. They grow up so fast!
DeleteWhat a cutie! I'm sure she'll keep everyone on their toes, but she looks full of sunshine.
ReplyDeleteOh that she does!
DeleteHow sweet! Little children want to be independent so early - it's lovely to see.
ReplyDeleteI hope she knows her own mind and isn't afraid to speak up!
DeleteWhat a precious week with your girls. That baby year goes so fast.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! She is growing up so fast!
