Decluttering Totals for June

 Better late than never, right?

Time has got away from me again, but I think I'm back on track. I do have some blog catching up to do!

I wanted to get this one written as it's a bit of personal accountability. Overall, it wasn't a bad decluttering month. We were away for a week in June so definitely not as much decluttering done as I'd hoped.

Craft Items - 30

Magazines - 21

Books - 62

Misc. - 20

There were also a bunch of travel pamphlets that I let go of, the ones you collect (well, I do) when I visit places.

Goals for July - to continue with the decluttering. To keep the main areas clear of clutter. I also want to work on the bedroom as it's suddenly become a place to dump stuff. Not really conducive with relaxing sleep!

How is your decluttering coming?

And because I can't write a post without including a photo - a picture from the walk this morning, another hot and sticky day

  1. I listened to the annoying racket of the paper shredder with joy in my heart; husband is making a start on the mumble mumble years old paper stack on top of the obsolete computer tower collecting dust in our bedroom...hooray

  3. The room switching forced a lot of decluttering, but I can't name or count. But, three more garbage bags, an old rug, two boxes of mismatched plastics in the recycling, and a very large donation box. More to come when closets are purged.

  4. Well done on the decluttering, Sharon! You are doing really well! I did OK in June. Decluttered a few items and set a few others aside because I couldn't decide. But, that's OK, too, I think.
    Lovely photo!

    1. I'm tempted to box up some items I can't decide about, put them aside for a while and revisit.

  5. We pick up travel booklets too. Then we don't even look at them.

    1. That's how I am. I was going to use them for a project and never got around to it so I thought it was time to let them go
