Another dreary day. It started off a little icy as there was a thin coating of snow/ice overnight. Husband and I took a drive to the Amish shop. We haven't been there for a while and it's a treat, so we got some donuts, cheese and bread. Yum. Definitely something we only do once in a while.
For the rest of the day, I got together a few of the things I need to ship on Monday, listed a few things and then spent a bit of time up in the craft room. As usual, there was more moving things around rather than getting rid of them. I think I ended up only pulling 5 items out - sigh. It's five more donated than I had earlier lol.
I had a chat with daughter by herself and then a video chat with Baby A. They think she has her molar teeth coming through as she is very grumpy. Every little thing seems to upset her. Poor her and poor parents.
Tomorrow, we're off on a Sunday Adventure. Not sure where it will be or how long as there is predicted to be a bit of snow overnight and into the morning. Not a lot of point going far if the snow is obstructing the view!
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend
Photo today - the Sandhill Crane couple are back at Asylum Lake. It must mean Spring is on the way!

Lovely photo of the Sandhill Crane. Poor Baby A if she's teething. Poor parents, too, as you said. I hope you have a lovely Sunday adventure!
ReplyDeleteThank you! They had a bit of a break Saturday when SIL's mom came over and looked after her.
Delete5 things donated - celebrate 🥳
ReplyDeleteI am glad. Every little thing donated is one less thing in the house. I am also working on not bringing things in!
DeletePoor baby - teething is hard work! I e never been to an Amish shop! Not sure we even have them here in my part of the UK. It's cold damp and grey here, though the sun did at shine a wee while x
ReplyDeleteIt's a bit like a farm shop. They have fresh bread and baked things, local cheeses and meats. Very interesting to have a look around. The baked goods are very tasty too!
DeleteHope you have a nice day out and the weather is not too bad.
ReplyDeleteThanks. It was dreary and cold. Sigh.
DeleteWhat a gorgeous bird.
ReplyDeleteThey are really cool birds, quite large and they make a lot of noise!
DeleteWe have a couple "Amish" stores near us too. Bulk food, spices, cheese and meats. We like to stop at them too. We have lots of Sandhill Cranes by us too.
ReplyDeleteThe Sandhill Cranes are starting to return. It's fun to visit the Amish store, quite expensive, but tasty for a treat!
DeletePoor Baby A. It's so hard when little ones are so miserable.
ReplyDeleteI hope that you had a splendid adventure.
I remember those days. I try to tell daughter it won't last forever and just to try to enjoy the good bits that make you smile!
