We saw a warm up here on Friday - it was actually 15c!!! Very warm compared to what it has been lol. The snow has melted. Now it's just very muddy. It was really windy Friday - could hear the winds howling.

Did a little bargain shopping on Friday. I had a library book to pick up so couldn't resist popping into the book shop down on the bottom floor of the library. It is all donated books and books the library is discarding. There are some really cheap prices - most books 50c to $2. Some of the books the library donates are really new and not out in paperback yet. My mum had a lot of fun there when she came to visit.

There were a bunch of stamping magazines out. Once in a while there are crafting magazines about. These were .25c each. I couldn't resist!

I also picked up a few books (another of my weaknesses!)

Also went to Barnes and Noble to see what new magazines they had. There is a Tuesday Morning shop next door. I remember someone on WOYWW saying what good deals they got there so I thought I'd pop it. WOW! I have got to go back and check it out some more. I did pick up a few goodies at bargain prices. The tape was .99c, stickers .49c a pack and paper between 1.99 & 2.99 a pack!

  1. Ohmy.. some great finds you have here! I LOVE (second-hand) bookstores like that and mostly cannot resist buying (too much) books... I'm glad I am not alone in that, ha! Thanks for stopping by my blog last week, have a great day! Hug from Holland, Marit #45

  2. HI Sharon!
I love the goodies you found at Tuesday Mornings. I love shopping there . I find better deals at the one in Pacucah KY (5 hours away) then I do at the one only 2 hours from me in Springfield MO. The one in Paducah gets a lot of Tim Holtz embellishments in.

    1. I think this one might have had some Tim Holtz. I need to go back and have a better look. I was with my oldest son (26) so he wasn't too thrilled about having to wait while I looked lol

  3. Wow! You got some good bargains! And i saw you also have bought the crazy cats.
The books look like they are great. I haven't read any of them but I know Santa Montefiore writes nice ladies fiction.
    Thanks for visiting mine,
    Happy WOYWW,
    and have a good week,
