Saturday...and more rain

It wasn't the brightest day when I got up this morning. It was actually raining. I waited until it had mostly stopped before I went out for a quick walk. There wasn't a lot around, but at least I got out for a bit. The weather tomorrow does look better so we'll be going out then.

I think the puddles at Asylum Lake were worse than they were yesterday!

I didn't do too much when I got home. I did sort a bit more on the porch. It's slowly coming along. I did a bit of Ebay listing. What doesn't sell shortly will be going in daughter's garage sale.

I've been watching a show on Netflix - The Residence. It's a bit quirky but I like it. I especially like the main character, and it doesn't hurt that she's a birdwatcher lol. I'm still sitting watching it while I should really be in bed!

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend

  2. Good for the garden, I guess, all that rain. We could do with some here. Everything is very dry at the moment. xx

    1. If only we would have a bit of warmer weather to make everything grow a little!

  3. That whole path looks like a puddle to me! Or, more like a little stream! I've spent a quiet day on Saturday, running a couple of errands, picking up groceries, doing laundry, etc. Nothing very exciting.

    1. It was definitely really wet. I made sure I was careful to watch where I was walking so I didn't slip in the mud. I hope you had a good weekend.

  4. My daughter and I are meeting up and then going to a couple garden centers for inspiration. Too early to plant though the wetness is getting better after last week with the rain to snow to rain to more snow then melt mix. My daughter likes birds and has been learning more through her Eco Center job.

    1. That sounds like fun! I need to get some inspiration for the garden. We have lots of deer that seem to eat everything so it's a bit discouraging. I really want to grow some of our own veggies though I have a terrible brown thumb. I am thinking of investing in some sort of small portable greenhouse and give it a try.
