Sunny and Bright

I feel like I'm missing Spring. Everything is getting so bright and green and I don't have the energy to get out there much and enjoy it! I did manage to go for a little walk but I was so out of breath and quite dizzy. Feeling really old. This illness has really taken its toll. It's a little better today - my ears keep popping and my head feels a little clearer so hopefully the dizziness will ease up.

Perhaps while sitting here I should make a list of things I'd like to get done. The 100 Day Projects I was working on are an epic failure. I shall try to catch up on the 100 Days of All About Me but the photography one is done. No point picking up as the point was taking a colourful photo a day. I shan't be too hard on myself. It couldn't be helped. As soon as I'm able I'll be out there taking lots of photos anyway.

It always amazes me that this is in the middle of town. When I was here back before visiting daughter/falling ill everything was still so brown and dead. It's amazing how much difference a couple, three weeks can make.

  1. It just seems to take so much longer to get over stuff when we get older. Just keep trying.

    1. You're right. I expect to bounce back like I'm 20.

  2. Hope you feel better soon. I wanted to get my Dress Like Your Grandmother project sewn up, is due on the 15th May, but doesn't seem I will. It's like setting oneself up for failure. But I live in hope.

    1. That sounds like a lovely project. It does seem like setting yourself up. I'm not good at deadlines as a general rule, but I was so hopeful on these projects. Oh well.

  3. Sometimes it can take ages to get one's strength back. Give it time and it will be OK.

  4. Aw - hope you are feeling better soon. Sometimes we just need to take time and rest, no matter what needs to be done. x Karen

  5. Just take it easy and take your time recovering. You can do the 100 days of photos when you are feeling better, even if the official one is over. We won't mind! Glad you are having warmer weather and feeling even a little bit better.
