Last week, I made a really stupid mistake. After I had written the post last Thursday, I thought I'd better check my emails for the cabin confirmation email. Sometimes they end up in old mail and I can't find it when needed. I pulled it up AND IT WAS FOR THIS WEEKEND not the last!!!!
It's 10 O'clock Thursday night and husband has taken time off work and I've messed up. I don't know what I was thinking. I've been talking about it for months as going away the same weekend as sister and daughter. YIKES!
We decided as husband had the time off, we would go away for Friday and Saturday night anyway, so I looked around and found us a hotel in an area we had talked about exploring sometime. We had a lovely weekend away up by Sleeping Bear Dunes Previous Visit and Legend . We have visited Sleeping Bear Dunes before but hadn't explored around the area. Sadly, the overlook had to be taken down as the sand shifted and it became unstable. It's harder to see the beauty around there now, but it was lovely. We actually ended up going there for sunset one night
Our hotel was near a lake and there was a wonderful sunrise view
So - as we've already booked this weekend away we're off again tomorrow.
Last weekend was quite warm, this weekend is going to be a bit chillier! I'm not sure if we've missed a lot of the colours, but it will be nice to be in one of my favourite areas.
I am going to do better next week and blog more lol. I've also got to get back on the wagon and start my decluttering again!
