Weekend Again

After forgetting what day it actually was this week, the week ended and the weekend arrived. I did a bit of unintentional decluttering yesterday. Husband has a worktable down in the basement and he decided he needed another table to make an L shape. I had two plastic tubs down there full of...well, I wasn't actually sure. They had been put there years ago.

I sorted through them, tossed and donated, kept a couple of things. I am down to half a tub now. It's full of photos. I have to sort through them - toss a lot of the scenery ones (taken way before I learned how to use my camera) and keep the children ones. It was funny finding this one. I can see Baby A in my daughter. 

Don't they look really sweet? It seems amazing how quickly the years flew by! It will be quite the rainy day project to look through the photos. I might even take my own advice and label the back of the photos so maybe someone in the future looking at them will know who they are!

Today we went for a walk by the lakeshore. It was a beautiful October day, quite mild. We had a pretty nice walk. 

It was actually quite peaceful out though starting to get quite busy by the time we left. 

When we got back home, I did actually go up in the craft room! It's been a while since I've been up there. I do feel more like doing crafts when the weather starts to get a bit cooler. Mind you, I still haven't turned the heat on yet. It hasn't been too bad in the mornings, the temps have dropped low, but it's been warm enough in the afternoon to heat up the house and it's still holding heat! Once it starts to get really cold, it doesn't seem to hold the heat so well.
