After feeling poorly last week - finally felt better on Saturday - and camping over the weekend I seem to have lost my mojo. I think I have a case of the post-holiday blues as I seem to have trouble getting going again. I have managed to get back on the treadmill but that's about it! I think it might be time to make some lists to kick start myself going. Perhaps I just left my mojo on the plane somewhere over the Atlantic. I hope it returns soon. Perhaps it's just because I have a lot of ideas running around in my head and don't even know where to start.
I did have a great time camping at the weekend. On Saturday morning we stopped at a market in Port Austin and I found a lovely stall selling scarves. I couldn't resist and bought the one below.
It has the name gypsy and the colours are so vibrant, so Autumn. The picture doesn't do a good job of highlighting the colours. I shouldn't have taken the photo at night!
Don't tell me you are like me, a bit of a scarf fanatic! I love scarves and often go without one, feel chilly and end up buying one or I just see one I like and have to have it. I daren't buy any more handbags or i will be thrown out so i think I have generated to scarves.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are feeling much better and enjoyed your little camping holiday. Take care.
Hugs, Neet 2 xx
Great space to work in - hope you get some crafty time soon! I love the scarf - I think I may be a scarfaholic! Chrisx 32
ReplyDeletelack of mojo= jet lag maybe. With so much in your head, time for a brain dump then pick the first one that catches your eye. Hope the mojo returns soon. Lovely scarf. Creative Blessings! Kelly #39
ReplyDeletelove that scarf…first thing I saw when I opened the post! The colors are so warm and welcoming. I am a scarf aholic too! I have a drawer of pashminas and shawls. I understand about the Mojo thing…I am just so pleased mine seems to have come back! I joined a group on Altered, Tattered and Timeworn a Yahoo Group that does swaps and it has helped me get back into the swing. Thanks for visiting my desk earlier. Vickie #4

I'm partial to a good scarf too! I love Autumn colours so bet that one is a beauty. I know exactly what you mean about too many ideas in your head...it's ok, ignore them all and one will pop to the surface 😊💖

I know how it goes with the mojo! Sometimes it's just not there. Watching crafting videos usually does the trick for me, but sometimes you just have to wait it out. I'm sure that scarf looks gorgeous in real life! Thanks for visiting earlier! Enjoy your week, Sharon! zsuzsa #24
ReplyDeleteI hate it when my mojo goes on vacation! But then we went for the last 2 weeks. I was seeing wonderful projects done and was getting antsy until we got home and my mojo didn't. Naughty mojo... Gorgeous scarf! Thanks for the visit and I hope you have a great week!

I so love a nice scarf but seem to buy them and then only wear them once which I know is a bit silly. It's a funny thing but I think the post holiday lack of Mojo is quite common, I find taking a little something with me often helps to keep you in the mood for when you get home. Thanks for the visit to mine and have a great woyww, Angela x 16
ReplyDeleteYou'll find that Mojo and will be back crafting in no time. The scarf is beautiful, maybe you can use it as your muse!
ReplyDeleteHave a great WOYWW week!
Hugs

That's a beautiful scarf you got. I'm sorry to hear you have the post-holiday blues. When that happens to me, I find that I can get my mojo back quickly by working on an art journaling page or creating a Smash book page to rekindle my memories. Thanks for your visit to my blog and blessings!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love scarves too! I have way too many and I keep knitting them too and we don't really have a great need for them in this climate! Luckily I enjoy winter so they get some use then :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your lovely comment on my post. Much appreciated.
Hope you get back into it soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting me BJ #21
Oh, I know the feeling of having so many ideas you don't know where to start. I think I'm feeling that right now too. I've got a stack off stuff I just went out and bought for a couple of projects I can visualize but can't seem to get started on. Here's hoping your mojo comes back soon!!

I love the colours of your scarf, although the photo isn't too good, I can imagine and almost 'feel' the beautiful blending colours... maybe you can use that as an inspiration to get your mojo back? Whatever you do, ENJOY your week!!! Thanks for visiting my blog earlier, big hug from Holland, Marit #20
ReplyDeleteI would rescue my scarves in the event of a fire -- love them - clothing, accessory, dress up, casual, what's not to like. And need...lots of needs! Your desk looks really big - like a blank canvas...I expect your mojo is still relaxed and reluctant..once you get going on something you have to do, you'll be full of ideas for stuff you want to do!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful scarf, Sharon. I am sure you will enjoy wearing it. My Mr. Mojo and Mrs. Muse have the habit of taking themselves off on naughty holidays together, leaving me in the lurch at times, but they always come home eventually! These days they are around all the time - it's me that's the problem - too much else to do, and when I do get time to be creative, I'm too tired!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your lovely comment and your kind thoughts - I am sure I shall be fine with my scan results. I'm more worried about my dental appointment tomorrow... I am terrified!! No time to rest at the moment I'm afraid. Tomorrow and Saturday are both busy days. I'm so glad you like my Zentangle tracings - do give it a try - it's really fun.
Have a great week, and happy belated WOYWW,
