I kept a travel journal again this year. I'm really glad I do this. It's lovely to be able to look back and see what we did on a certain day and it helps when trying to journal photos later. I have some books to make for Mum as I took lots of photos and she didn't do too many.
I took the notebook/folder with me. I thought that maybe it would be too big, but it's pretty full.
It's also a great way to keep all the postcards and brochures together.
A brilliant idea.

Like the look of this, where did you get it?
ReplyDeleteI think I got this one at Michaels. It was either on sale or I used a coupon lol. It ended up being under $10 and has lots of pages, a few pockets and some envelopes.
DeleteI may have to copy that idea. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThat travel journal is a wonderful idea! I have a photo album of my trip to England, many, many years ago; I should have inserted the brochures and things I picked up in there, but I stored them separately, and then, I think I tossed most of them, later! I might still have a few - should look for them!
ReplyDeleteI wish I'd done it sooner. I have so many things from other trips but never kept them together or organised. Doing it this way certainly makes it easier!
DeleteSuch a brilliant idea, a lovely way to recall some special outings.
ReplyDeleteIt is! It's a great way to be able to document our holidays for Mum too as if I forget something I have a reminder to go by.
DeleteYou have been in our area! I hope you enjoyed your visit to Torbay even though it's very busy with tourist right now … but then, what do we expect in August? I feel so fortunate to live here … it's a holiday 52 weeks of the year for us. Hope the Torbay Hotel (a Shearings Hotel) came up to snuff. The fountain in the park opposite was removed last autumn, repaired and re-installed only a few weeks ago, and the garden made beautiful again, so I hope you had a good look at that!
ReplyDeleteDo visit Torbay again!
