It is almost May already! Another week has flown by and it is time to join Julia and the gang over at Stamping Ground for another What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday. It's time to see what everyone else is up to.
Here's my desk this week
I have a file folder album going on in the background and another Gatefold album in the foreground that I was working on Tuesday. I finished one earlier this week and posted about it yesterday. I liked how the album came together. I bought some new paper last weekend so am making another.
This is my updated cross stitch this week. She is coming along nicely! Still a long way to go though.
I just wanted to say thanks to all who visit and comment. I really appreciate your comments and looking. I'm hoping to join in with the ATC exchange as it sounds like a lot of fun!
A gorgeous images your doing in cross stitch Sharon .

Good morning Sharon. I just love your cross stitch and she looks so beautiful. Mini albums are so fun to make I have made a lot and have a lot to work on just with the finish touches.....but always want to work on something new.lol Thanks for visiting me earlier today and congrats on winning. I had to change the marker storage my youngest daughter useing them more then me but she draws so wonderfully I am amazed with her talent. She has a few images in my sisters digi store but she picks up drawing like it is to breath. I posted my email up on my blog for you in the comments. Have a fantastic week and wait to hear from you. Hugs~Anne L#14

ReplyDeleteThe ATC swap is indeed fun - you will enjoy it - I can't take part this year as we are hoping to be away that week with no wifi access - but it is so lovely to receive these miniature works of art. Enjoy.
Take care. God bless.

Hi Sharon, Your cross-stitch just jumps leaps and bounds each week. Your gatefold album is really great, I see why you're making another.
ReplyDeleteThere is a TC scrap store. I went there once and wasn't a fan, but the owner was gone and had another person there. It's call Soon to Be a Memory @ 1765 Park Dr, Traverse City. I hope you have fun on your birthday outing. What are your plans? have you been up here before? happy Wednesday, LisaDV #42
Your cross stitch is amazing! I thought it was a watercolor, because of all the shadowing you achieved through your stitching. Thanks for the visit and blessings!
ReplyDeleteoh WOW that is Xstitch? ( ha I think I only seen flower patterns way back in the long long time ago when I used to do that ages) :) ( ripped all the ligaments in my wrist a long time ago and I found rubberstamping after because, you could lean and use your body weight haha. ) that looks amazing! Thanks for the earlier visit Sharon, ~Stacy #55
ReplyDeletethat crossstitching looks awesome, many mini books on the go and like your purple rain banner on the side. Happy WOYWW Vicky#6

ReplyDeleteJill
That cross stitch is absolutely beautiful. I don't think I could do something so beautiful with paint, never mind with threads.
ReplyDeleteHugs & Thanks for the visit to my blog- Neet 3 xx

A very neat desk, Sharon, and I'm most intrigued by both albums which I hope you will share as you make progress with them. You are doing some great shading on the cross stitch! I am working on a revived piece of cross stitch that I have to admit startinh over 25 years ago!!! I finished one long border tonight so that's progress at least.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your encouraging comment on my blog - I'm gradually mastering the painting and having the right brushes helps no end. So glad you like our garden! It will look even better once the new plants start to grow and flower. My hubby is very pleased with it and he's worked so hard so he deserves it. I'm hoping to get time to start running Sheba soon - been busy today being ruthless and getting rid of stuff!
Happy belated WOYWW,
Shoshi #62

ReplyDeleteSharonK, I meant to tell you, if you check the Friday posts in April, you'll get to see the inside of that notebook you said I was teasing you about. :-) There isn't one today (4/29) I totally let Friday come upon me without doing my challenge this week. But will return next Friday. Creative BLessings! Kelly #52
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon, I like the design of your gatefold albums. Really smart. I bet you can fit lots of photos and pretty bits inside those. Nice choice of papers for the blue one too.
