It's Wednesday again so it's time to join with Julia and the gang over at Stamping Ground for another What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.
Here's my desk - lots of coloured pencils and a few images. I think I want to sort my pencils - daughter has them all sorted in colours. Mine are as they came. How do you organise yours?
You can see a little colouring going on but not a lot else. I think I left my crafting mojo in St. Cloud!
Since I've come back I have got some sorting out done - several books posted off to Paperbackswap.com and magazines listed (and sold) on Ebay. I've got a way to go but I am getting there!
I did finish a scarf! It's like the one I knitted in St. Cloud, only this one is sewn too
Here's a photo of me wearing it! Hopefully next week there will be a little more to see on my desk.
Oh, great pic of you!! The colours in that scarf really suit you :-D. I do like it when deskers put up pics of themselves, it's just really nice to see what your Interwebs friend looks like. I can imagine you crafting in your room now and know what you look like!

Hi Sharon. Sounds like you really are getting organised. Well done. My crayons? I tend to purely use watercolour crayons, and they are all in colourways in a lovely fabric storage zipped container which hubby bought me. It has a long strap for over the shoulder when going out, and a section to keep a sketching pad or two, a rubber, water and a mixing tray. It is SO useful. Love the scarf! It's great.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

What a lovely scarf!! I keep all my pencils in a carousel on my craft table, not sorted at all.
ReplyDeleteWOYWW#3 - thanks for stopping by this week
Hi Sharon, I agree with Jan, it's lovely to 'see' deskers, and that is a great shot of you, and awesome colours in the scarf. I think blues and purples are probably my favourite combo, after black & white, lol. Have a great week, hugs, Shaz#5 xxx
ReplyDeletebeautiful scarf - I cannot knit - but can do some crocheting. Darlene #39
ReplyDeletethat scarf is beautiful Sharon, and my pencils and markers are sorted by color and my paint tubes or bottles or papers are by mfg... ( I actually had to resort mine last weekend so the newest mugshot is up today) ~Stacy #36
ReplyDeleteThat scarf is fab - the colours are gorgeous and it looks so chunky and cosy. I'm with you on the eBay front - I need to have a massive purge of unwanted baby and toddler stuff my little man has grown out of. Hope you're blessed with selling success. Thanks for sharing, Max #24
ReplyDeletewas going to start with a flippant comment about all your pencils ( just envy!) but the scarf is just beautiful, and what a great photo. Thanks for visiting. Helen #1
ReplyDelete*waving madly* hello! what a great picture, and I love the scarf, it's really sumptuous. As for the pencils...I'm the last person to ask, although I love the idea of having them in pots of separate colours. Trouble is then, people will know how many you actually have!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great scarf and it looks great on you! So fun when we get to see what we all look like! My pencils are sorted according to color, both regular pencils and watercolor pencils. Thanks for the visit and hope you have a great rest of the week!

ReplyDeleteI love that scarf - my favourite colours! How do I store my coloured pencils? Standing up in old coffee mugs! Thanks for sharing! Lindart #37
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely scarf and how nice to see you! Sorting the pencils by color sounds like a good idea. But I'd also want to have at least one set with a range of all the colors so I could take it with me if I am travelling and taking a project to work on with me.
ReplyDeleteLove that scarf. The colors are awesome.
ReplyDeleteApril #27
Great picture of you and the scarf. I love the colors and the way it drapes. Beautiful! Dorlene #39
ReplyDeleteLove the scarf. I leave my coloured pencils in the boxes as they came, but I can see how organising them into colours would also be good. Belated WOYWW Sarah #23
ReplyDeleteLovely pic and the scarf is gorgeous you must be so pleased.

Wow, you have so many coloured pencils! I just keep mine in their original tins, and never use them LOL! Beautiful scarf and it's nice to be able to put a face to your name - I don't think I've ever seen a photo of you before. Only your daughter - and she looks a lot like you, if I remember correctly! Thanks for visiting yesterday! Happy belated WOYWW! zsuzsa #21
ReplyDeleteLove the colours in your scarf, and it looks so warm and cosy sitting around your neck.
ReplyDeleteSorry to say but my pencils are just as they came, no other order for them.
Hugs, Neet 8 xx
Love the pic of you in the fabulous scarf, Sharon! And those gorgeous rainbow colours of your pencils. A truly colourful post! Thank you for your visit and your lovely comment - yes, my hubby is definitely a "keeper" and I simply don't know what I'd do without him. He's caring for me so well! This is going to be a long slow recovery but I'm being patient and not rushing things, resting as and when necessary and letting things be done for me!
ReplyDeleteHappy belated WOYWW,
Shoshi #34
Oh I have to always sort into rainbow colour order. Inks, stickles, liquid pearls, card pieces, scrapbook papers!!! LOL Gorgeous coloured scarf. As for the birthday gifts, I had to find on Amazon and put in wish list!!! Better than nothing or something I didn't want!! hehehe. thanks for your visit yesterday, BJ#10
ReplyDeleteYour pencils look very well organised to me. I love your coloured scarf so many of us are now knitting.
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon,
ReplyDeleteYou have so many pencils! Do you keep the watercolor pencils separate from the others? I'm afraid I've mixed some of mine up and am worried about that!
Your scarf looks lovely on you!!
Happy WOYWW
Peace, Kay (35)
Love that scarf, it is 92F here so i will not be needing it. It is lovely and when i see that I almost wish it was cold. My colored pencils, paints and inks are all in colors blocks . In fact despite my utterly messy ways I like organizing the paints pencils and inks. It works very well when i am trying to blend and match.
ReplyDeletehave a great week.
Monica #46 and very behind today.
lovely scarf you have created there, I keep my pencils in the tins in numerical order as I find it easier to locate the ones I need then. Tracy #15
ReplyDeleteWhat a great scarf! I keep my pencils with all the same colours together and I also have big sheet of card in the tin with each colour on it and its name underneath so that I can quickly see which colour matches up with the card or DSP I'm using. Thanks for visiting,
ReplyDeleteBernice
