Wednesday rolling around...

It's the middle of the week again - wow the weeks are flying by! - so it's time for What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday with Julia over at Stamping Ground. I missed last week as nothing had changed on my desk. It's still messy and I think my mojo is lost in the mess. The photo below only shows a portion of the desk (the tidiest bit).

You can see a couple of backgrounds I've been doing. I've been working on photo pages and waiting for a sunny day to take decent photos of those. I've been knitting - a couple of hats (seen on Friday post) and now working on some wrist warmer thingys. I am so pleased with how the knitting is coming along.  I've also been working on one of the cross stitch pieces I've had kitted up. I'm finding it a little difficult as I don't particularly like stitching it. I think it probably shows in the stitching though I am determined to finish!

I'm off to have lunch with a friend, phone my Mum and will be hopping around desks in between. Happy mid-week everyone! Hope you have more sunshine than us - weekend nice, now rain and tomorrow (!!) snow!

  1. I wouldn't worry, if you're not feeling something, then it's probably best left to one side for a couple of days. Hope the sun comes out for those photos soon.

  2. Hi Sharon, I agree with sarah, if you're not feeling the love with it, best to put it aside. I find that sometimes with cards- one reason I went off taking commissions. Some were fine, but some people were so specific with what they wanted, it didn't give me any enjoyment making them. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #6 XxX

  5. It sounds like you are busy with lots of lovely things so I wouldn't worry too much about your mojo, it'll come back when you are ready to create something else.
Hope you had a lovely lunch.

  6. Sometimes it's good to put things to one side and have a break - you'll come back refreshed and full of ideas. Glad the knitting is going well, I've had to put my knitting and crochet on hold until I get my carpel tunnel sorted in my wrist - as soon as I found it difficult to knit I really wanted to!!
    Have a great week,

  10. You'll be glad you persevered when the cross stitch is finished, admirable tenacity missus! I really like the backgrounds...have you started them knowing what they're going to be for, or are you doing that arty flying by the seat of your pants thing?!!

  11. It's hard when your mojo decides not to show up. Know that we all go through this. Keep working on whatever you find interesting. I find that cleaning, clearing, and destashing helps me but you must find what works for you. Glad you joined in today. Hope to see photos of the knitting and stitching.

  12. My mojo has gone on vacation many times and it gets worse as I get older... but it usually comes back after a visit to Pinterest or some of my favorite blogs. Sounds like you have some other projects going that keep you crafting. Thanks for the visit and I hope your week goes great!

  18. Love your desk! I don´t particularly like very tidy desks...hihi....so nice to see when there is thinking going on. I could not think at a tidy desk ;-). Hope your weather is as good as in Holland, we have sunshine at the moment, dut still cold. Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog, I was very sad visiting the shops, they both are closing in a month time....due to having no one to follow-up and losing clients to on-line shops....greetings! Francisca

  27. I always say that a tidy desk is a boring desk... though sometimes that's just because I'm so jealous of these tidy-desk organised people lol
