Days Flying By

The days seem to be flying by at a rate that leaves me wondering what an earth I am actually getting done! It just seems the week started and now it's almost Friday. Yikes. There is little on my weekly to-do list that I actually managed to get done!

Hubby has caught the horrible yuckiness that's been going around. He's hacking away like crazy. I'm hoping he'll be on the mend soon and that he won't pass it on to me!

I ended up having another Blue Heron photo printed and have mounted it into the book so it is finally finished. I'll try to get around to taking photos tomorrow but the way this week is going I probably wouldn't hide my breathe lol. I've been out walking most of this week except Monday. The sun was actually shining today after days of dreariness. Perhaps that's where my week has gone - I've spent too much time outside walking.

I saw this chubby raccoon yesterday while I was out walking. Didn't get too close as I'm not quite sure of their temperament. It watched me for a second as it wandered across my path, shimmied up the tree and popped down a hole at the top!

I managed two fun cards the other day.

Hope everyone is having a good week!

    1. It's always great to see wildlife on my walks. Just when I think there's nothing about I'm surprised!

  2. Racoons are cute, my sister found a baby one on the side of the road sitting by it's mama who was hit by a car. She brought it home, bottle fed it and called him Chewy...he chewed on everything...one day, after months of being so friendly, he ended up biting the neighbor girl and ran off. She had to go through rabies shots. It wasn't good. Chewy never came back - well, he did only it was a she...the next spring she brought her babies to my sister's house...showed them to her on her porch and off they all went. It's a good/bad/good story...LOL Glad you found a heron picture to complete your book. Sun is going to shine here today as well!

    1. Wow what a story! I admit to keeping my distance from it as I don't know much about them. I got attacked by a turkey last year and it's made me a little weary lol

  4. The days are definitely flying by! Glad you are able to enjoy walking, though. I sometimes see raccoons in my backyard, but haven't seen any in awhile.

    1. I'm really glad I'm able to get out some days. It drives me crazy not being able to walk when the weather is bad. My treadmill is sadly broken and I haven't been able to find a good bargain to replace it with!
