I'm joining in with Julia and the gang over at Stamping Ground for another What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday. I'm late this week - stayed at my daughter's for a couple of days. Not much to show on my desk but I did find some goodies while we were out and about.
The black and white style papers are exactly what I've been looking for. While in Cambridge I took some wonderful pictures of gargoyles up on a church. I've got the photos printed, almost finished the basic mini-album and these papers will work wonderfully. Hopefully next week I'll have a finished project to show!
While up with daughter took dog for long walks. The weather has been just gorgeous so we've been out trying to enjoy these last warm days.
There are some lovely trails near where she lives. We're going to enjoy the rest of the afternoon and I'll be off to visit desks at home this evening.
What a marvellous time you have had with your daughter :D - Thank you so much for sharing.

What pretty photos you took and are showing us, can just imagine walking along there. In the meantime you have lots of things in the box to play with on the dark nights and the times when the weather is not so kind to us. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteWhat lovely photos of your trip away with your daughter, Sharon. I love the idea of taking photos and making them into an album - this is what I am doing with our recent woodland trip pics. Thank you for your lovely comment - so glad you like the tangles! I've got the Zentangle bug again at the moment... I'm feeling a bit spaced out with this bug but not streaming with cold. I expect it will pass in a few days, and in the meantime I'm resting.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week, and happy belated WOYWW,

Ooooh, i do like that monochrome paper, very elegant indeed and perfect as the backdrop for a photo of gargoyles. That's the beauty of wandering around ancient English towns, there's always fab history around every corner. You'll have to show us the finished LO!

Loving those paper packs! I find when I use patterned paper, the most difficult task is to choose which one to use. I can agonise over my choices for hours - literally! Thanks for visiting earlier! zsuzsa #22
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos. And Shasta is adorable. I love huskies. Nice paper finds too, which is always a plus. Thanks for visiting me! Have a great week! LisaDV #34
ReplyDeleteI do like the elegant black and white papers - they will certainly compliment the gargoyles - there's some fantastic architecture on our churches and cathedrals isn't there! Your scenic shots are lovely, you can really see the autumnal colours starting to appear in the last photo. Hope you have a great week, sorry I'm late getting round, and many thanks for stopping by earlier,

Happy Belated WOYWW. It is always brilliant when we find just the right papers to finish a project. Lovely place to walk with the dog. I spent some of my childhood near Cambridge - Impington, Histon. I expect it has changed a lot since the 70s! Ali x #26
