Another Day...

Yesterday it was pretty icy and I didn't go far. Today the roads were better so I got out for a walk and to the shops. On Wednesday's I ring Mum too so we chatted for a while. I didn't get as much done as I wanted. I didn't get out until later for a walk and by the time I'd done that, gone to the shops and rang Mum time was marching on. I did do a little cross stitch and knit a few rows.

It's going to be a squirrel! I got the kit on sale one year while I was visiting Mum. I'm pleased to get a start on it and it seems quite fitting as I've been taking a lot of squirrel photos lately.

  1. Very cute. I love a bit of cross stitch from time to time.
We seem to have a bit of your cold weather at the moment. No snow but it is icy cold.

  2. Looking forward to seeing the finished article - looks cute!

  3. Sadly, my eyesight isn't up to the fine detail of cross stitch any more. Your squirrel is very cute and I look forward to seeing the finished article.

It's cold here but surprisingly there was no frost this morning. I'm not good with cold weather so am happy to stay indoors!

  4. Like Eileen my eyesight isn't good for the close work of cross stitch now but I used to do a lot and I miss it.
Love your squirrel kit.....and that cute real squirrel.

  5. Yes, the kit fits right into all your pictures lately. They sure are funny little critters. I did enjoy your geese photos on Instagram as well.

  6. I LOVE cross-stitch!!! You have a wonderful blog - I am now following you; you callow back if you wish at Annster's Domain

  7. What a lovely cross stitch project! Looking forward to seeing the finished project! Your photo of the squirrel is lovely! She's got a nice little perch from which to watch you take photos of her! LOL. I love squirrels! Unfortunately, not many to see in my garden because of all the cats, I think!
