September 1st and some crafty makes

Wow. September. I can't believe it's time to turn another calendar page.

I didn't do great in August. I was aiming for 30 books, I managed 26. Sigh. To be honest, the last couple of days I haven't really looked for any more to donate. I shall make an effort to find some more. The 'stuff' is getting to me again. I was doing so well on my craft room and then I started creating again and stopped sorting. I need to work out a balance. I haven't been doing too bad listing on Ebay, but it's working out where to put the things that are up for auction. I have Mum's habit of putting something somewhere safe only to forget where I put it. For now, I have them in a small cabinet, but that will have to be moved once cooler weather comes as it is in front of a heating vent. I am doing ok on the meal planning. There's room for improvement.

Here are some of the crafty makes I've been doing

A little Halloween mini album

I really enjoy making these. They aren't too difficult to make. I find them relaxing. I just don't know what I'm going to do with them lol. At this rate, I'm going to have to do a craft fair or something.

As I did the last one today I'm using that as my Day 244 Things That Make Me Smile. I am beginning to find the joy in crafting again.

  1. Your mini albums are so cute! Maybe you can start selling them on ebay, along with the other stuff!

  3. I'm so glad you are back to crafting as I think your cards are always so good. I was never happy with what I made which is why I'm more or less giving up card making

  4. I love that album - it's so adorable!

I hope that the crafting helps you refuel. I think that you've been running on fumes for a while. Refuelling is important.

Also, important - I love the way you can look at things and see a picture or a card and bring together insight and vision. I have such respect for people who can look at a landscape and take a picture that *works* Sending good vibes.
