It's not been a bad couple of days. The nights have been a little cooler so I have slept a little better. Yesterday morning I had one of those nights where I woke up about three and then laid there thinking about things and it was about five before I went back to sleep. I'm beginning to think I'm on another not-sleeping cycle. It seems, the since the beginning of menopause, that I go from not being able to sleep to wanting to sleep all the time. I suppose I might just have to listen to my body and take a nap in the afternoon. It just always seems that I end up falling asleep at the wrong time, don't have long to nap, and then end up feeling worse than ever. My husband can take what he calls a power nap and wake up feeling refreshed. I just feel really grumpy.
Anyway, walked yesterday and today. I was prepared for the biting flies, but there weren't too many of them so it was okay walking. I must have laid funny on my hip when I slept on the sofa so I have a twinge after walking for a while.
At home I have sorted out a couple more tubs - the pile is getting smaller! Husband is going to vaccuum a spot in the laundry room (there was a spider's web there and I'm not touching that!) so I can put the empty tubs down there until I decide whether I am going to use them or donate. I don't want to get rid of them to find I need them when sorting out the craft room!

It was really quiet and peaceful on my walk. There weren't too many bitey flies around and it enabled me to just stop and enjoy the view!

It was a nice calming sunrise this morning. I was hoping for more of a mist and brighter colours, but it was lovely.
Absolutely lovely photos, especially the misty one. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI go through spells of sleeping fine and then having very wakeful nights. I think I'm learning to go with the flow and I'm grateful that I can cat-nap during the day if I really need to. xx
I think that's what I'm just going to have to accept.
DeleteGlad that the nights are getting cooler and you are able to sleep better. Lovely photos; that last one reminds me of autumn!
ReplyDeleteThe cooler nights are a sign that it won't be long until autumn. I can't wait. It's one of my favourite seasons.
DeleteSending hugs. That pic of the mist in the morning is so beautiful and soothing.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much. It is my happy place when not overrun with bugs!
