I managed to get up early this morning. I've been doing the waking up at 3am thing again and laying there thinking and then I can't sleep. Sigh. I suppose I'm in that part of the cycle again. Grrr. Anyway, I got up early and went to see the sunrise. It was pretty cold
It was nice and peaceful though. I was the only one at the park (not really surprising lol).
My Day 338 photo (below)
A beautiful view.
I went to look for the birds, but I think it was too cold for them to be in the pond that they usually hang around here. There were lots in the fields around the pond, but not close enough to get photos. Oh well. I don't blame them for not wanting to stand in the cold water!
I went to the shops, picked up some wrapping paper (something checked off my list!). I came home and wrapped some of the gifts for the game at my daughter's except now I can't remember what I did with one of them. Sigh.
It was a fairly productive day. I checked a few things off my list and got started on a couple of others. Hopefully I'll get some more done tomorrow.
What a lovely sunrise!
ReplyDeleteWell done with checking things off your list! Hope you can find the gift you bought for the game! Hope you have another productive day, tomorrow.
Thank you!
DeleteI've been on that same cycle for a couple of years. Up at 3 am. it's better than a couple years ago. Beautiful sunrise. I do that too, hide something and not remember where...ahahah.
ReplyDeleteIt's not fun. Just when I think things are settling down again, it all starts. It takes some get used to it!
DeleteLeaving a restaurant on Saturday with friends and a tree was loaded with birds. It was 10° and colder wind-chill. We were amazed they were there.
ReplyDeleteOh wow - that sounds lovely! Sometimes they all flock together ready to migrate
DeleteSorry to hear you couldn't sleep again but that sunrise photo made you early morning walk worthwhile ... it's beautiful. xx
ReplyDeleteThanks. I think I need to get used to it. It seems to go in cycles. I just need to not get anxious about it.
DeleteI try not to worry about it but just read or get up and do9 something. As you say, it goes in cycles. xx
