Middle of the week rolling around again and time to share our desks with Julia and the gang over at Stamping Ground for another WOYWW.
This one's going to be short. Here's my desk
It's a messy desk with the beginnings of a birthday card for my sister. I have to finish it today so I can get it in the post tomorrow. I did finish the tangling part of my Zentangle from last week - I didn't take a photo of it yet. I've been doing some knitting too - I'm ready to try out some new stitches with the help of a book and my friend Youtube.
Thanks for looking and the comments! I really appreciate them.
Can't wait to see the photos of the finished card and zentangling. Sarah #29

Love to see your finished Zentangle, have the pens but not tackled it yet. #2
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed peaking in on your desk, so many wonderful goodies scattered about! Like that Paperartsy stamp you are using. Hoping you will share your finished zentangle, would love to see it. #24
ReplyDeleteIt's good to see some crafting going on Sharon cos there's nothing at my place! I'm glad the zentangling went well. What knitting stitch are you learning?

I'm trying to work my way through my book - so far I'm doing yarn over, slipping stitches, knitting two together, knitting and purling through the back loop, passing stitches over one another. It's like a foreign language trying to read some of the abbreviations lol. I'm sure I'll forget them as I go along. I'm getting ready to start a shawl so we shall see how that goes.
DeleteNice creative desk today! Don't forget to take a photo of the card before you post it! Thanks for sharing, Lindart #43
ReplyDeleteGreat looking desk Sharon. Thank you for your visit to me blog

It looks as if you've got some interesting stuff going on on yur desk, Sharon. I look forward to seeing your tangling once you get it photographed. Thank you for your visit and your lovely comment - I always love hearing about other people's kitties! Beatrice has just used the stool again and is on the radiator now - I put a towel on there to soften it a bit but it must be really hard and sharp to lie on! She does fall off sometimes... She's definitely got much less agile, especially in her back legs, since I've been home from hospital. She's a good age, and we really hope we'll have her for a good long time but my hubby says he thinks this might be her last year... I don't know what on earth we are going to do without her.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated WOYWW,
Shoshi #41
I like a messy desk, me! As I'm late, I'm going to hope you got the card finished and am super impressed that you're learning something new, what patience!
