Messy Desk - not much has changed!

Desk day again. It's Wednesday so it's time to join with Julia and the gang over at Stamping Ground for another What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

The view on my desk hasn't changed much from last week.

I finished constructing a mini-album and am currently putting together photos to put inside. One of my goals this year was to get my photos organised better than they are (sitting in boxes). I'm been putting some into a journal sort of thing and want to put more groups of photos in albums. I haven't decided whether to embellish or not.

I did make this little bookmark. I like the saying - it reminds me to try to think positive.

I have been out and about taking photos. I saw my first really cute Raccoon on Sunday (shown in previous post). I'm really enjoying all I'm learning in the course.

Thanks for all the comments! I really appreciate them. I'll be off hopping around the desks sneaking a look at what everyone has been up to.

  1. You're welcome to come and organise all my photos when you've finished with yours. I realised recently that most of my recent ones have never been printed out, but the ones from 20+ years ago are all in boxes. Sarah #26

  5. Oh, I sympathise with the photo sorting - I still have a box filled with pics from my parents place. One day..they'll get done. I like that tag very much indeed, the sentiment is fab. A good reminder for us all to appreciate what we have :-)

  8. That is a fun sentiment on the bookmark Sharon :) and I doubt I will ever have all of my photos "organized" but, that's OK. (for me) ~Stacy #42

  14. Organising my photos is an ongoing process, Sharon - I have loads of old ones that I am gradually scanning into the computer and then I can print them out what size I want. Love your bookmark! Thank you for your lovely comment and I'm so glad you like my Infisions samples. Thank you also for your good wishes for my health and Phoebe's - she has eaten better today and things do seem to be moving so we are hoping that the vet is wrong! I was in tears over her this a.m. and really don't want to lose her!

    Happy WOYWW,

  16. It sounds like you've been very busy with your artsy endeavors, between your scrapbooking, paper crafting and photography. Blessings!

  18. We all have boxes of photos sitting about don't we. Well done for organising them into a journal. I keep meaning to scrapbook some of mine but it's very slow going as I keep getting distracted with other things!!
Thanks for popping by mine already.

  19. Oh good for you - the photos I scrapbook are largely organised and waiting..but there's probably twenty 'others' for each scrapbooked one and they are not well organised! It might be the sort of thing I could get stuck into at the garden table...when I want to be busy but want to sit in the sun even more!!

  20. Thanks for calling by at mine yesterday. I'm just playing catch up before I get too busy.
I love the sentiment too....it does us good to focus on other things at times doesn't it?

  22. So glad you are getting your photos sorted. I attacked my parents cardboard box of photos when I was 17yrs and started the sticky back albums, 2005 they evolved into scrapbook albums going back to Dec 2003 when I had got my first digital camera. I'm now on my 13th 12x12 scrapbook album, all with 30 leaves so 60 pages each!! Thanks for visiting me BJ#29

  23. I think I prefer to leave the embellishing until after I have placed the photographs into the mini album :) The bookmark is lovely - and such a wonderful sentiment :)
